Record Lock Message

Q:  When I try to record transactions I get a File is Locked by Another User message. How do I correct this?

A:  Follow the procedures listed below:   

 

1. Make sure another user is not recording transaction in same company.
2. If another user is not locking the account record, exit all Windows applications and Shut-down your computer and Restart. If your workstation had an uncleared lock, this will normally solve the problem.
3. If Option 2 does not work, have other users in CertiflexDimension restart their workstations.

4. If the problem persists, the server may not be releasing a lock from an inactive workstation. In this case, contact your Network Administator about having the server restarted.
